How to install claude code skills?
Copy the skill folder into a skills directory: ~/.claude/skills/ for all projects, or .claude/skills/ inside one repository.
A Claude Code skill is a folder containing a SKILL.md file. The file starts with YAML frontmatter (name and description) followed by Markdown instructions. Personal skills live under ~/.claude/skills/; project skills live under .claude/skills/ in the repository.
Review the SKILL.md first: skills can tell the agent to run commands. Free-tier skills in the Agent Skill Pack install the same way.
